Not every meal is an occasion. Most of them are a Tuesday. This box is built for those. Six kilos of meat from two heritage breeds, portioned and ready to freeze.
We have just made it bigger and brought the price down. What used to be 5kg for £80.50 is now 6kg for £71.75, with a full extra kilo of beef and the choice of minced or diced.
The sausages are made here from our Middle White pork. It’s a breed that has been at Huntsham for over thirty years and was nearly lost to Britain altogether after the war, when the country turned to leaner bacon pigs. Middle White fat is sweet and carries flavour in a way that modern commercial breeds simply don’t. It is why our sausages taste the way they do.
The beef is English Longhorn, raised on the same Herefordshire pasture and given the time the breed needs.
What’s in the box:
Middle White Sausages. 9 packs of 6, approx. 3kg. Made here from a selection of cuts, lightly seasoned, in a natural casing. Two to three servings a pack.
Longhorn Beef, minced or diced. 6 × 500g packs, approx. 3kg. Your choice at the point of order. Take it minced for burgers, bolognese and cottage pie, or diced for stews, curries and slow-cooked casseroles. Three to four servings a pack.
Approximately 6kg in total. Two rare and native breeds, raised on one farm and butchered on site, at a price that works for regular cooking rather than special occasions. Everything is packed to fit a domestic freezer.
Delivery
Orders over £69.99 are delivered free of charge. Below that threshold, there is a £10 delivery charge. Delivered in insulated packaging, chilled and ready to cook or freeze on arrival.
